That dress is beautiful keep it simple studs, diamond necklace, and black shoes small black sequined purse and a black shaw that's see through

Depends on your budget. A fur shrug would be awesome! However, you basically need a coat that's the same length or slightly (very slightly) shorter. Stick with a similar fabric as the dress, the color doesn't matter.

I don't think you should cover up this dress with anything. It has a ton of embellishments on it and to cover them up would defeat the purpose.
If you must wear something I'd wear a shawl to match your shoes. A light satin or silk shawl with no embellishment on it.

I would wear a just below the knee, black trench coat or car coat.
If there are rhinestones on the buttons or buckle, that would make it even MORE perfect.
