Why are they going on this crazy man hunt for the guy over ONE murder?? They act as if though he in an international terrorist that's commited some sort of genocide. I'm not saying murder is no big deal but COME ON!
(Side note: I've only seen pieces of the movie and I already know the "twist" about who really did it.) But DID the "real guy" do something else?
It just seemed a bit out there to me.

No, he didn't do anything else. But, the idea is you do not escape from a U.S. Marshall and just disappear.

You should have really seen it from the start. I don't wanna spoil the story so go see it and appreciate.
Not catching the Fugitive brings a lot of Scandal to National Defense, that's all. That's the big deal.
