Start by unscrewing the sending unit or oil pressure light switch and screw in a manual gage.. take a reading.That is a difficult oil pump to replace because the timing cover attached to the oil pan both have to be removed easier with the engine out of the van. If there was a gradual loss of oil pressure sometimes the new oil pump won't help.New engine clearances will! Lack of frequent oil changes dirty air filters and high mileage are against you.
