i feel ur pain!

there are many strengths to bein an egocentric perfectionist!!! you take care of things more than other ppl, you pay attention to details that other ppl dont notice, you usually fulfill things better than most...etc.

other than that, the negatives are that you tend to obsess over these things so you sometimes stress out the ppl you hang out wit.

Well as an egocentric perfectionist, I am surprised you didn't use spellcheck, given that you won't stop till your "da best..." So egocentric yes. A perfectionist would be very aware of how the poor grammar and spelling make them look to the world. So you are the first, but not the second label you gave yourself.

Advantages: You'll get things done, and continue until they are right and won't know if you screwed up because of the egocentric part.

Disadvantages: As an egocentric personality, you won't believe it when you do things incorrectly - you'll think everyone else is off. The downside of it is that you might find yourself without friends because they can't live up to your expectations and you won't tolerate what you see as their imperfections.

If it is problem - contact a doc.

Well, the good thing is that stuff that meets your standards will make you happy.

The bad stuff is that you'll take forever to do stuff, if you have a fit around people, they won't like you, and to be honest, no matter how good you are at something, there are probably like a million people out there that can do it better than you can.

To "solve" it, first realize that you have that problem. Then strive to fix it. For example, if you're taking too long cleaning dishes, then try to set a record to see how fast you can do it (cleanly that is!)

Also, realize that nobody's perfect, and everyone makes mistakes, so don't let that stuff get you down if you don't get straight A's in school or don't make the band or sports team. Just be happy at what you're good at, and enjoy that, rather than trying to beat everyone else at it.

It's a lot more complex than this, and if you really do have a big problem with it, then you might want to see a professional on this. But it should be managable if you're willing to accept things as they are, and not to an inflated standard.

being a perfectonist gets u into concern too. perfectionists look to thimk that each and everybody others could think of as they do.. . reward are issues are achieved completely risks few can learn from errors. it extremely is lonely too for others won't prefer to be with somebody that's appropriate.. while IT comes time for a mate you will seem for perfection and in basic terms who's it which could tournament what you're searching for for then??. that's my opinion , I surely have considered it however myself . good question RoChEr . mj

On the negative side, you shall never be satisfied with reality. On the positive side? You are too stupid to know that.
