I just bought a 1975 Honda 360. The bike is complete and the guy gave me a second frame, front fork, rear wheel. There is a title but it is for the frame that is not built up. So, as not to have to tear the bike completly down and build up the titled bike what is the process to obtain a title on a bike like this? And how would that work on a 100% custom build job as well? Thanks for the help.

legally you cannot use this title on the bike thats complete. you can all though use it if youre running the engine off the titled bike in the other frame. email me if you donot understand. i will be glad to explain this further.

Get a receipt for the frame that doesn't have a title. Tell the DMV that you want a frame swap. It'll cost about 20 bucks or so depending on which state you're in.

Check with your local DMV or tax collectors office. They can advise you on how to obtain a rebuilt title for the bike.
