Google it. But, if my memory serves me right, most of the
characters on Spanky and our Gang went to prison or died
young. Like a curse. It seemed to me that for the longest time
the only one who didn't have a problem that way was Robert
Blake... and we all know what happened to him. So, I guess the
gang is batting 1000!

There was a man claiming to be Buckwheat who died in the 80's. Turned out that the real Buckwheat was murdered some years before.

the true Buckwheat opened a restraunt and was shot and killed just outside of it if I remember correctly
