I recently ask a question pertaining to whether or not Bush's executive order 13397 was constitutional because it creates a Faith Based Initiative Center within the Homeland Security department.

Anyways, most overlooked the question between the lines:
WHY is he combining F.Based Inititative programs with the Homeland Security department?

I honestly can't figure out the motive. Any ideas?

1. These funds have reached as far as Kashmir. So it is not just a homeland crisis.

2. If it was meant for homeland crisis then why not make it part of FEMA?

Obviously it is a bone that Bush is throwing to his fellow congregationalists. I'm sure there will be a lot of money made available to this "Center", he is creating. Jobs and money for his dumber friends that won't be able to handle any other types of jobs, post administration.
The other possibility is that he is going to put the church in charge of rooting out terrorists from society and locking them up in their faith based prisons which are big in florida with his brother.
I think they are all friends of Chuck Colson, the convicted watergate conspirator who turned to religion in prison.

The executive order is not constitutional. It blurs the lines between Church and State.
Most obvious motive for doing this: Anyone that does not abide by the rules of 13397, can be persecuted. Homeland Security may access the FBIC to further corrupt the Constitution, until it only protects a very few people. Either one or both together may ignore the rights of citizens, use fear, as a tool for abusing those rights.

I don't understand why you don't understand it???

Homeland Security has been put in charge with things like national events like the hurricane or flooding. Remember the New Orleans hurricane and flooding,.

The only real possible releif was from the churches, The Catholic Charities, Baptist Charities, Lutheran Charities. There is no way that government alone can do it, so Homeland security has to be able to work with religious groups to get the work done..

This was all very well covered on most conservitive news channels when it happened,

How approximately: 4. we are saved by applying faith on my own, yet forget of works does impair our relationship with God. Salvation is thru faith that Jesus Christ - God interior the flesh - died in our stead. on an identical time as salvation is thru faith on my own, our works DO count. Our relationship with God is a 2-way highway. We shouldn't in basic terms get saved then take a seat back and don't something. we could continually draw nearer to God. we could continually to wish to Him, compliment Him, believe Him, and remember on Him. we could continually witness to non-believers and proportion the Gospel, and stay healthful lives, placing an occasion for others. we could continually try to be Christ-like. those issues are not mandatory for salvation, yet our relationship with God will go through if we don't do them. AND we are able to be judged by applying our works. some persons who've served God quite properly will reign alongside Jesus. Others might have household initiatives a pair of rungs down the ladder in God's government.

2. He's very consistent with his dubious decisions. The results of his decisions speak for it's self.
