i went to a concert, not too long ago , and all the lead singers had a ring, but its on the wedding finger, except its on their right hand, i see everyone with a ring on that finger, is it a trend, does it mean something? it was an indie-punk emo concert.

1. It's a bit more difficult to play a guitar/drums with a ring on your LEFT hand specifically. . .I'd imagine if they really are all married that would be the reason for putting the ring on their right hand.

2. Actually I put my ring on my third finger RIGHT hand, no trend. . .It's just a personal preference. . .If it is a trend, I'd like to say I ushered in the movement. . .

3. Hope this helps somewhat!

I've noticed that. The thing is that the lead singer from Taking Back Sunday wears a ring on his right hand, only I am positive he isn't married... So I don't know about him. Whatever... Its their business.

If you look at the BIOS on all those musicians in Google, you'll find they (most of them) are married. Wearing the ring on the right hand has to do with the instrument they play. My baby brother is in a band and plays the drums. He never wears his ring. He says it bugs him while he's playing. My other brother who plays base, wears it on his right hand. Hope this helps.

My brother wears his wedding ring on the right hand because he plays guitar and it gets in the way onthe left hand....
