This doesn't mean that in the end, men choose floozies, or that women choose bad boys. When it comes time to settle down, people ALWAYS make more sensible decisions.

"Bad boys" are someone some women immediately rule out as a possibility because they have "issues", and those issues are often far more than are reasonable for any well adjusted woman to want to be bothered with. People who don't have their act together, have issues, do illegal things, act like bruts, and whatever else "bad boys" do come across as damaged, weak, stupid, maybe aggressive, and a number of other unappealing things.

Wussies - also ruled out for more benign but equal signs of not being well adjusted.

Normal, well adjusted, mature women will just hold out until someone who's normal comes along.

Women want guys that treat them badly when they are insecure and have had rejection in the past... so they are unconsciously putting themselves in the same situation of emotional rejection over and over again in the hopes that the guy will finally validate them and then they'll finally feel worthwhile. But the real solution is to feel worthwhile first, and then get a guy who has confidence. Guys with confidence don't like girls without.

You make it sound as if a man has to be one or the other. A man should not allow a woman to control him to such a point that he becomes totally "whipped", but if you are with a girl who wants a total asshole then just think of how you will look later on. Should you be a total asshole, badboy, or whatever just to impress one girl, then you should realize it will reflect on you later should you become interested in another. The key is to be yourself.

I think I like bad boys for sex. Wussies aren't good. My current BF is deffinately a wuss and I cannot get rid of him. I think somewhere in between is best.
