Hentai is on a whole other level than fangirling. Hentai is animated pornography. O_O
I don't think it's a matter of real guys not turning girls on, so much as seeing strong anime male characters as a sort of ideal. It's prettymuch the same thing as oogling the big-breasted anime girl...or heck, even a porn star. A fantasy, nothing more.

the japanese have SKILL MAN! ok some guys look so hot they can be confused for women. not exactly a great reason but if such guys existed in real life it would b wayyyy toooo hottt! im telling u the art of anime isjust beautiful. the way that the body is portrayed. it's perfect. the color of the eyes are amazing. it's completely unsurreal becuz no1 can b that perfect. mayb that's also another reason y. but they r completely hot.
