I haven't but I have 2 friends who did. I can't remember the name of the drug they both took but it wasn't lovenox. They had to give themselves shots daily and they really hated it but both of their babies turned out fine. One of them had to have a csection because of it though.

I have two blood disorders that are genetic. My infertility doctor did extensive blood tests and found them. One is called Factor V Leiden and the other is MTHFR. Factor V causes me to have a higher chance of clots than a normal person. It is worth it to have a doctor test for those things. They do contribute to miscarriage. I have a son from in-vitro and had a serious blood clot in my leg at 11 weeks. The crappy dr. didn't do any tests, but I had to be on lovenox for the rest of my pregnancy. I too, like the others, am now on heparin shots twice daily (lovenox is dang expensive) and aspirin therapy as well as extra folic acid. It is worth it. I am currently 15 weeks along with twins. It is a scary and exciting time. Blood clotting factors are dangerous for you and/or the baby's health. Good luck. Ask the Dr. to test and do some research about what condition you have.

I have had a couple friends who have miscarried because they developed blood clots while pregnant. After they had the miscarriages the doctor ran some tests and then the next time they got pregnant they were both put on blood thinners like a 81 mg aspirin daily. So contact your doctor and see what they recommend, if this is a documented problem they can help and they can do everything to make sure you are able to have and carry the baby until due date.

Good LUCK!

Many of my family continually suffer from blood clots. Two of them in particular were told that they could not fall pregnant but they have 3 beautiful children now. I took heparin & aspirin for my pregnancy. The injections stung a lot but were worth it - I have a beautiful baby boy.
