i can see where you're going with this, but it lacks structure and rhythm. try to re-work it, maybe break up the long lines into shorter ones. and while i also don't think that rhyming every other line is important, you should have some rhyming lines in there. (sad, sad, and laugh, laugh, and you, you don't count, at least in my book) i really like the thought expressed though. also try to work the title phrase, only you, into the poem. good luck
