Sex can help regulate your cycle. Also, birth control is VERY important, but that can change your body too. Sometimes in a good way, like less cramps, more regular periods, etc. Having sex will also probably make you want more, so make sure that you are with someone you care about, and also would be willing to raise a child with, because birth control isnt as effective as people think it is, there is the human error factor. Think about getting the Nuva Ring for birth control, its the most effective for women who have never had a child, the easiest, and also has the least sideeffects. DO NOT get on depo provera, its very inefective, no matter what the doctors say, plus can make you fat. I have a friend with a set of twins AND triplets that were conceived while she was on depo. Scary! Anyway, you will be fine as long as you are ready, well-educated, and smart about it. Its not going to have any drastic changes on your body, unless you get pregnant. And be realisitc, no matter how carful you are, you CAN get pregnant, ANY time you have sex, ANY time of the month. Trust me, I know.

I'm not a woman but I've read a lot about women. I think it changes some things in your brain, the parts that deal with emotions. Also, I think that if the sex was enjoyable, you have much more physical awareness than before. In other words, you will recall over and over the sensations and feelings you experienced.
So, you are smart to ask the question, because you can weigh the choices intelligently. Good Luck

I think what that statement means is that once a woman has sex, and becomes pregnant, then their body changes. I think if proper contraception is used, then there is no reason to expect any woman's body to change as a result of having sex, unless something occurs that is out of the norm.

It doesnt change until you end up pregnant or with a disease. Just so you know there is nothing wrong with being a 19 year old virgin, but you probably already know that :)

Well, in the old old old old days of yesteryear, before women were sticking things inside of themselves for thier monthlies - a woman typically had thier hymen intact until thier first sexual intercourse encounter. It was at this first sex that her body would permanantly change by the popping of the cherry!

Sex doesn't change your body in anyway shape or form. Pregnancy changes your body and well that would be from having sex.

it really doesn't physically change your body. however, it changes the way you feel about yourself so make sure you hold on to your virginity for as long as you need to. its precious and once given away is lost forever so make sure you don't regret it.
