My dear Y!A users. I have made YET another discover in the world of the supernatural (hold the applause). I believe I saw some Wood Elves! Now, before I begin rambling, I want to clear up some rumors that have been circulating. I read a lot of comments suggesting that I do or did drugs. I have never in my life done drugs. Are we clear? Okay, it all happened yesterday: I was driving back to my hometown after an enlightening trip to Houston, Texas. I was hungry, so I decided to pull over for a quick bite. Keep in mind I am still in Houston. As I was deciding on which shoe-box of an establishment I should pick, I came across a curious little sign...

... It was written in English letters but it made absolutely no sense. It had tiny symbols above each vowel. Odd? Indeed! I was invited enthusiastically by the "Eat In - Take Out" sign so I decided to give this odd eatery a try! When I entered the building, I was shocked beyond comprehension. These "people" running the establishment were not human! They were Elves! They stood about human height and were slim of build. They had black hair and enchanting facial features. They did not have pointy ears, however. I was honoured to be in their prescence. They greeted me with accented English and gestured for me to sit down.

I was meticulously conscious of my actions and speech, for I did not want to scare them away. I saw a few Houstonites eating here as well (Sadly, I was not the first to discover them). The Wood Elves presented me with menus printed on enchanted Elven paper (possibly made of sacred trees from their Elven forests). They had English translations for every item on the menu under their peculiar alphabetic language. As an Elven waitress approached me, I decided to take a risk and ask her where she was from. She replied to me "Huh? Vee-Eht-Nam.". It appears that these Elves have studied our language!

I recorded a mental audio clip of her reply. Vee-Eht-Nam. It must be an enchanting land! She spoke again: "You order now?". I staggered and suggested her to choose for me, for I was not familiar with the food of her kind. She sighed and said "Number 7 okay?". By golly, anything would be good! I'm having a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Elven cuisine! A few moments later, her graceful 5 ft 4 frame carried a steaming bowl of hot grub. Her hands appeared to be heat resistant; the bowl's temperature must have been close to the near boiling liquid inside.

Her dextrous hands presented me with my meal. There were no forks, only sticks used in pairs to "pinch" at the food. I was clumsy at first, but eventually I got the hang of it. The meal was a delight. Submerged within a rich broth infused with pungent Elven spices, there were long strands of snow-white noodles made of an unknown Elven grain. There were also thin slices of unidentified raw meat (possibly Unicorn meat?) that quickly cooked in the hot broth. There were also two bottles of Elven sauce--one spicy and the other savoury--that was used to add a kick of desired flavour.

Simply amazing. My encounter with these enchanted Wood Elves have been mind-boggling. There is so much we do not know about our world. So to all you mythology enthusiasts, keep an eye out - you MAY be as lucky as me!

There have been reported sightings of Elves and other little people all over the world. so I don't see why you may seen some yourself.
As for physical proof there is or was a VHS tape out about Irish legends. That showed a shoe that was found It does not fit any of those found on dolls and showed signs of use and repair.

You have indeed discovered the Elven folk, speakers of Quenya, which we know as Elvish. They are a proud and gentle people. The word in Quenya for that soup is "Pho" and the word for restaurant is "Little Saigon." If you go there and tell them "Oh, no Joe, too beaucoup" while pointing at a spot below your belt buckle when they give you a big bowl of Pho, you will please them with your understanding of their ways. You lucky lucky person.

I love it, Brandi! Enchanting! You obviously discovered 'Little Viet Nam' in Houston, TX.
I'm not crazy about their cuisine, but most of them are nice people.

Omg really? I saw them too. Well I heard that if you jump off a building and fall down some stairs and hit your head you'll see them again. Wanna try it?

I didn't bother to read anything past the assertion you made on having never done drugs... My assertion is that i think you should (mind you, my mother always said she saw fairies so maybe, just maybe, you're not nuts)
