Don't beat yourself up. Don't ask silly questions that make you want to distrust him. If you need to know, use the I statements I often give for advice. I was worried. I can't make plans, I would like you to call, etc. Avoid the YOU statements: you always are late, you make me worried, you have no consideration, etc.
And it really is all about trust. If you have substantial reason to distrust him, then maybe you need out of the relationship. If you think he is just "forgetful" then go with that feeling and let it be.
But ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, express your feelings, and never apoligize for them. They are your feelings and they aren't right or wrong. Again, the I statements. I feel ....(threatened, betrayed, worried, anxious, even distrustful). And if he doesn't want to listen, ask when a better time to talk is.
Good luck. But remember you can only change you, not anyone else. If need be, change YOUR attitude toward what is happening.

I'm sorry to say but most men cheat, some are just better at it then others. Men are also stupid, find proof before you accuse him. If you find proof confront him about it. But also remember we are all human we all make mistakes. Forgive him but never forget. So when the opportunity comes for you to make a mistake, it's okay, your only human.

Stop your mind and it wild imagination. There probably is a good reason for this so wait and hear him out. True, he should have called you but men dont always do things as expected. So be patient and he will show up soon

When he gets home calmly suggest to him that if he is not going to come straight home from work to at least give you a call so that you know what is going on, this way you won't worry yourself. If it continues, you should check out this website: www.cheaters.com

maybe, just maybe, he had an accident on the way home...maybe you are jumping to conclusions here...maybe you should call him in as missing...call the hospitals...call his friends...call someone and find out if it is an innocent thing or what is going on...maybe next time he won't 'dally around' at some bar

There's not much you can do until he gets home. Then Ask him where he was and that it's important he call you if he's got plans.
