you can get a free powerpoint viewer from microsoft.

Microsoft has a PowerPoint Viewer Free to download that will open and read the powerpoint files. If they are forwarding these emails than possibly they don't have PowerPoint, but if they are the one's sending these emails instead of forwarding them, then they would have to have it to include it in a email... i believe a PowerPoint player can be downloaded to allow you to play the attachments........Check on Microsoft web site........good luck
