I haven't ever yet, but my boyfriend seems to think it's fine if we use a condom. Is it harmful in any way?

I think that it is best not to. Normally there is a mucous plug that closes your cervix, but during your period it is not there, and so you are more vulnerable to infections. Also your uterus is in a stage, in the middle of a process, and I think it's best to let it be completed first. I guess your boyfriend finds it hard to wait,, but,, that's part of life. It'll be sweeter for the wait.

I have had sex plenty of times on my period. It isn't harmful at all. You can use a condom it's less messy for him. You should put a towel under you though. Having sex though could cause you to seem like your bleeding heavier or lighten it to the point your period ends earlier. It's not harmful at all.

It is neither harmful nor wrong if both of you are comfortable with it. only problem is that the experience could be quite messy- BUT then you use towels to lie on etc. Intercourse can actually be beneficial if you suffer a lot of pain during your periods.

No, it isn't harmful or wrong. And there's a product called "instead", also known as softcups, that will make the experience less "messy" for both of you. I found them at Wal Mart in the health/beauty/pharmacy section.

yes it is if your like in the beginnign of ur period ...having sex can give u a bacterial infection and besdies that having sex while on ur peroid would be such a pretty sight.....but if u r in like th close of ur period and theres hardly anything coming out you'll be fine just use protection and fo rbesyt reslutls be on bottom .......so that way if anythign does come out while in the process its chances of co,ming ou tin the open are little

I have the best sex during my period, but it can be a very unsettling experience if you are not comfy with it all the way. Make sure you trust and love this guy.

no harm in this, my wife and I do it all the time. We both enjoy it. Have fun and use a towel.
