My mother had 6 boys, no girls.. She would have liked to have had a mix, but, she loved us all.. But, see, we boys did her right.. we found good women and married them and gave her her daughters that way. smilesss

your question made me look within. i have one child.. a 17 year old boy / young man off to stay in residence for the first year of college. he is an amazing independent easy going relaxed funny guy.... his own person... and i selfishly honesly believe if i had a girl, i would want her to be like me.. and thats so wrong.... i want my son to be his own person so if a daughter was an ADDITIONAL option to my son, no... i dont think so... i would have a prethought way of how she should be... i turned out pretty good but selfishness would prevent her growth.
