The best measurement is the BMI (body mass index). If you are 5'2", the healthiest weight would be between 103-136. That's a pretty wide variation and your best weight would depend on what size frame you have (petite, medium, or large-boned) and what feels most comfortable to you. The average weight for your height would be around 120-125.
Please ignore any ignorant person who would say that you are obese. In order to be obese by the scientific definition, you would have to have a BMI of at least 30, which would be 165 pounds. You are hardly even overweight! At your age, you are better off in the long run being slightly overweight than underweight, because if you deprive yourself of nutrients it can have a long-term effect on your health. So if you decide to cut back on high calorie foods and exercise a little more, you will lose those extra few pounds, but don't do anything drastic!!

I am not sure how much you are supposed to weigh, but if you are wanting to lose weight do it healthy. I have started eating healthy and it is really helping me. I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months. For breakfast I eat a yogurt. For luch I have a tuna fish sandwich and cottage cheese with apple butter or a salad. For dinner I have either fish or chicken a small amount of carbs like noodles, rice, or potatos, veggies and a salad. They have tons of healthy snacks out there now too. They have thigns like Doritos, Cheetos, Cheezits, Teddy Grahams, all in 100 calorie packs. As long as you watch your calorie intake and fat intake you should be fine. Also try to avoid any white foods like white bread. Instead eat wheat but make sure it's 100% whole grain wheat. I hope this has helped you some. If you need any help just e-mail me.

once you hit 5 feet tall you can add 5 pounds for every inch over 5 feet, so for 5'2 , you should weight about 110, everyone is different, and i bet your terrific, only lose weight if it will make you happy. at 13 yrs old it should be pretty easy for the weight to came off eat less sugars and breads run around and play sports or some activities a little more even dancing a roud you room for 35 minutes a day. and you should start to see a differce in a few weeks.

You should be around 108 to 121 lbs. But then there's also your bone structure to take into consideration. Don't worry about dieting at this point. Eat as much as you like, just eat HEALTHY foods!! If you want to get slimmer, cut out the junk food (just eat it like once a week or something) and drink plenty or water, exercise, etc. DON'T DIET or else later on you'll get FATTER!

Check your BMI. Seventeen.com has a BMI test under their health section. You BMI, or Body Mass Index, will tell you if your in a healthy range. There is no supposed to though with weight, I promise. A persons weight is special to them, it's unique just like the rest of you.

You should weigh as much as you end up weighing when you get some activity and don't eat to the point that you feel lousy.
