Rats live for about 2+ years...mice, I'm not sure, but probably less. Rats and mice both like to nap during the day. And no, they are not blind at all. They see pretty well. They can run super fast if they get out and can also make their bodies fit almost anywhere you wouldn't think they can. So, never let your pet rat/mouse out to run, unless it is in a room that they cannot get out of and a small room that you can catch them easily in, like a bathroom.

Rats live for 2-5 years. I don't know how well they can see but they sleep mostly during the day and are awake at night. They run very fast if they ever get loose good luck catching one.

they live 2-3yrs. rats dont have the best eye sight but can hear well. and Im guessing you have never seem a rat run flat out its cute coz they bound. They are pretty fast

rats about 2years,mice about 3 years.sleep in day active at night.can see good but color blind.they are very fast runners.
