Why do people blame Bush for oil prices? Can we blame him? If the Iraq war is for getting oil, then damn all power to it! (I'm not sure if anyone has seen oil prices lately....)

I don't think that Bush was smart enough to figure this out but somebody advising him was. We created havoc in the middle east with our uncalled for attack on Iraq. This sent the oil prices though the roof. Any time something happens in a oil producing region it gives the Oil company's reason to raise the price of it. The record profits that they have made in the last few years bear this out. If you remember Bush called the big oil company's in to set energy policy early in his first term and this is when it might have been worked out. The energy policy is non existent. The cost of oil is contributing to the cost of everything thus inflation. It in time will bring down this great nation and we will all be riding bicycles to the soup kitchen. If you remember when the oil company's tried to raise the prices during the Clinton years he let go of the strategic reserves and caused a glut on the market and that held the cost of gas in check, there has been no move like that from this president leading me to believe that he is profiting from it.

The Iraq war was an attempt to control the world oil market, as it spirals out of control the people controlling the president will 'advise' him towards war w. Iran. This will lead directly to 16% interest rates and a record setting recession, the oil price will be all but forgotten when the property market collapses.
The conspiracy is to get control of the Middle East before Russia becomes the next energy superpower and China the Industrial capital.

do everyone remember how they were just giving away cars just before the war, I wrote in my journal that the oil and gas for these vehicles would soon be in grave danger and it is not wise to own a vehicle, I mean really it is so deep.
and the easy car purchases here in USA told me something big would go on in the middle east and it is all in my journal!

I believe our involvment in Iraq is just another step in our nation's attempt to control the world oil market. Our entire economy, industrial production, is based on the use of oil. The country that controls the oil has all the power. America will do all that is necessary to maintain its power base by securing the control of the world oil market. During this time they will also have control over oil prices. It is no coincidence that the majority of the people on capital hill own much stock in oil. They directly benefit from rising oil prices.

How many times do we need to hear this? Bush does not
set the oil prices, nor was the war in Iraq about oil. Who
sets the oil prices in other countries then, where gas
prices are anywhere from $4 to $9.00. How does Bush
decide the prices for other countries? Our prices are
probably on the low end over other places.
