Hezbollah missiles are never ending. Israel is taking more and more of Lebanese territory so what can they do? Oh how about getting the UN in now to help us? This war is costing Israel too much, as they take more and more of Lebanon they are spreading themselves too thin and looking bad in the world of public opinion. How do you solve this, get the UN in on it>

To interested. If the police get a call that your house has a sniper in it shooting at people do they shoot rockets into your house, kill you and your family to get rid of the sniper? Isn't that what Israel is doing to Lebanon? Is that the only way they can fight Hezbollah?

to coragryph, ok I read a difficult defeat and I hope that this is the case but I had trouble figuring out which of the two, the marine or the latino were the Hezbollah. I don't think Hezbollah got the feelings they have for Israel overnight or just for superfical reasons. If the situation that you describe about the UN stepping in why is Israel in favourite of it?

For your police analogy, first, the police try to evacuate the non-combatants. Which is exactly what Israel did by warning the Lebanese civilians where they were going to attack, so the civilians could get out of harm's way.
What Hezbollah did is more like when the sniper takes the family hostage, as human shields. Then, the police must go in an try and take out the criminals, inflicting as minimal damage as possible on the hostages.
The US is getting involved because people are shocked at what it actually takes to stop the terrorists, and too much of the world population is squeamish. Read the story on the link below for why intervention is a bad idea.

No, she's buying time so that the US Armed Forces can regroup and hopefully pull out from Iraq so that they are prepared to reinsert into the Middle East if needed. Israel is fine and besides rocket attacks don't face any serious danger. This war is unfortunately costing the Lebanese civilians, unfortunate because Israel needs to confront Hezbollah but the cowards are hiding within the Lebanese population. The middle eastern countries sadly will never learn or ever grow up.

Bush and Rice both support Israel in war and they also support the killing. That is fact. We send Israel about $2 billion in tax payer money per month, they spend it on arms. Just like Iraq, Just like Nam. There is no such thing as a good and right war. Since Bush and Rice both agree that things are going well in Iraq, I am sure they also think things are fine in Lebanon, since they don't fight.
Hezbolla is getting missiles from Iran and the USA should dry up that supply of arms down to zero. Bush should be a man and ask Iran to stop selling them to Hezbollah, he won't because he lacks that courage.

Israel has already pronounced it rather is going to proceed it rather is assaults on the Hezbollah even however Rice is making an attempt to barter peace. i could think of with a view to barter some form of peace between 2 events, they could the two ought to be keen to have some form of peace. i don't think of she can be in any respect useful in getting the combating to give up till the Hezbollah is keen to resign their weapons. i don't think of that's going to take place. Hezbollah is a primary terrorist team. They killed over 2 hundred Marines interior the 1980's, attacked the united statesCole with a bomb, and function committed different acts of terrorism. i will not be able to help yet ask your self what a "give up hearth contract" ability to a terrorist team and ought to you ever rather have confidence them. What could it propose to them besides? could it propose they might pass back to doing employer as familiar?
