i have lost a platinum ring and i cannot find it. it is probably in the waterbed. do you know any way that i can find it? it has been over a year and i am going crazy trying to find it. thank you :)

i have tried to use a metal detector...it does not help me to find it...thank you :)

I'm not positive, but I would think a metal detector would work if it was really in there. Platinum is not attracted to magnets, so that won't work (I just checked on my own ring, doesn't work). If you really think it's in there, I think you might be stuck with draining the mattress.

Try a magnet. You need a big magnet, like on the back of a speaker. You could tilt the bed so you could assume that the ring would fall in that direction.
Or you could drain the bed. I know you don't want to do that though.
