I love them too and not only have I read them, I listen to them on tape and have purchased all the videos.

I have read that the reason there are only 7 books is:
1)one for every year Harry is at Hogwarts
2) Because J.K. Rowlings loved the Naria books and there were only seven of those.

Personally I think reason 1 is the correct one.

Below are two links that are really fun and informational. First is the official J.K. Rowling site. Second is a fun site that I came across.

If you like J.K. Rowling's books, you might also like the Belgariad series by David Eddings. Start with Pawn of Prophecy. It is also about a boy who doesn't know he is a wizard!

Me too, but it seems J.K. rowlings is such a good enthusing writer she's left everyone guessing what will happen. If there's anyone like me, then they're making up the next book in there head, on what they think might happen, and when you actually read the book, it's fun to see what was actually used to some extent!

I've seen all the movies and read the books as well. I agree that it will be disappointing that she is going to stop writing them once she publishes her seventh book. ='[ ...Maybe she'll write other books that we can be on the look out for but the Harry Potter movies and books still rock!

im a little sad too. they are awesome! but i cant wait to read the seventh book, it took so long for the sixth to come out,i thought i would die before i got to read it! i have seen all the movies, read all the books, i own all six books in hardback covers. so they will last longer. and i cant help but look at them again and again and again. those are the stories that makes u wish there were such things as there is in the stories. very good literature.

i've seen all of the movie but some books only.....well i have to say that all series movies stories ends.....a never ending story will just lead to boredom....its true....what matters mosts is the process or how the film deveoped to.....i do agree that JK rowling made too few series of harry potter...she should developed it till harry is a full grown man and maybe even has a family
