what r some easy guitar tabs for beginners?
im teaching myself how to play the electric guitar and i know the chords. but i cant find something easy to play to practic with.

I've been playing guitar 4 years and the best place for TABS is http://www.ultimate-guitar.com.
And as for easy songs to learn....Anything by Minor Threat is pretty easy. Green Day, The Offspring, Three Days Grace....Bands like that.

I'm teaching myself guitar also. There are lots of sites where you can find not only tabs for lead parts, but also lyrics with chords. You'd be surprised to find out how many songs you can play with just C G and D, or A E and D!
Some sites have more popups than others, so search around to find the one you like. I'd just search on "guitar tabs". Or if you know a song you'd like to try to play, search on "song-title tabs". Works every time.

As you are teaching yourself guitar, please make sure you have all of your chords correct. Most people think they are the greatest at guitars, or whatever, when they really have no idea what they're doing. Creating music isn't meant to be something easy. You have to practice and work hard at it. Also, it's an extremely better idea to play acoustic guitar for a few years, and then move onto electric guitar.

Reading guitar tablature is not something most beginners can do very well. If you want to give it a go though, try playing along with some of the songs you like. Just about all of them can be found for free online.

my bf is a guitarist and he said these should help...he also said go to google and put in guitar tablature and it should bring up tons....or guitar tabs for beginners too...ask.com is a site too you can use...here are some other links too!
