Amazing I checked and the Luxor at the south end of the Vegas Strip is in fact the 2nd largest hotel in the world...In fact 4 of the top five largest are right next to each other: mgm, luxor mandalay bay and excaliber and the venitian is right down the strip...in fact 17 of the 20 largest hotels in the world are in Las Vegas...wow did not know that..they are all so big you lose perspective (except when walking)---LOL

The name is the Luxor Hotel. It is a black glass pyramid with an egyptian theme. Hope that helps you. It is located at the end of the Vegas strip.

the Luxor hotel and casino..i stayed there back when they first opened .It was not very pretty inside but quiet nice to look at outside,I guess because it is different..and cheaper than going to Egypt

As the lady above me said, it is a hotel.
The name "Luxor" comes from Egypt. Ruins of one of the ancient capitols of Egypt, as well as the "valley of the kings" is located near the modern city of Luxor, so it is a popular tourist destination in Egypt.
