Not really I mean I hope to have at least impacted one person's life before I leave this earth but the way I see it is, if God is calling me home then He's calling me home. Death is something we're all going to succumb to so why be afraid of it. Just live everyday the way you think you should and make the best of life.

Sometimes I am and other times I'm not. There are days when life is just so hard that I really wish that I would die (no I'm not cray, I'm just tired of all the chaos and wish I could be at "home"). But then I get scared because I want to know that when I die that I will go to heaven for SURE. Another thing that I'm afraid of is dying painfully or having to leave my children. They need me so much. I wish I could be at the point that when God calls for me I would rejoice.

Ofcourse, it does. I can not imagine what will I miss. I will leave many people that I love. I can not fully see the world. However, that is a reason that makes me appreciate what I have now, and I can not live if I think about death the whole time.

I am not afraid of death, but I used to be afraid of it. I have realized that there can only be a positive outcome to death as long as I am a good person. Life and death is such a complex idea to fathom.

Death? No. I never had a fear of death or being around dead people (funeral, corner etc). I was taught death is a natural part of life. Everyone will have a life and a death. The only funeral where I did cry really badly at my niece's. I have a soft spot for infants/toddlers. Plus, she was a case of hospital negligence in her death. Other funerals I only was sad, but it is a part of life that I have to come to accept. It has nothing to do with being "cold hearted" or immune (which people can be immune). Just a way of accepting we all will have a time of death. Sadly, some don't die a happy death.

However, I think the most part about death people do fear is the unknown part.

The second part about death people fear is how they will die.

As for me, I have a little fear of my death day of how I will die if it is horrific. Then again, it’s now about how I will die. It is now who will watch me die that bothers me the most

....I don't want my kids, husband or family watching me die (lets say fire crash and they had to watch me die because no way to get me out or close to the fire. It has happened where an officer had to watch a little girl die as the fire was too hot to even come near in the car. A guest speaker to one of my law enforcement class's to show us the reality of emotional state of mind).

If I was to be in a vegetable state and never recover to be a wife, to be a mother, to be a working class citizen, to live freely with out being poked prodded with medical bills stacked high and can't move from chest down, I will put on my check list to not resuscitate and to not keep me on life support.

If I was in a coma for more than a year, I would want to be off life support. I will have this all in my directory. I will also state to donate my organs if they are viable to do so. I wish to not be cremated nor wish to be embalmed. No autopsy to be done unless foul play to my death. If an autopsy is to be done, all what is taken out of me (weighed, examined) is to be placed back in me unless in the situation of organ donation.

My body and I will do as I see fit. If I had it my way, I would have them dig a whole, wrap me in a sheet and put me in it.

I can't stand funerals these days. They are outrageous in price! Funeral these days are more of a profit from a death than anything. I don't need to fancy casket with silk lining or oak or so wood. I am going to rot in it. lol At the same time, have to be placed in cement block in the ground, which cost I,000 believe 1 to 2,000 depending where you live/cemetery.

Normally all ppl are, it is natural. But usually once we get older(elderly) we don't mind, and are not scared, we just have to face the fact.
