If your allergies are mostly in your nose causing sinus pressure in your head that is giving you headaches than a good allergy nose spray(perscription not over the counter) would help you. Try Nasonex....maybe take claratin with it as well...from a fellow allergy sufferer.

Well, even if your family says so, YOU DON'T GET HEADACHES FROM ALLERGIES.
You are probably having "common migraine", not the "classical migraine" where you get an aura and have very specific symptoms. Common migraine is, as the name implies, very common and that's what you probably have looking at how severe you describe they are. You may also have tension headaches, which are less severe.
Anyway, answering your question, there is no relationship between allergies and headaches. The only situation which has some relationship is when you get a sinusitis which is closely related to allergies. However the pain is usually facial instead of a headache, you will have high fever and a purulent nasal discharge.
I advise to consult a Neurologist. They manage headaches very well and can give you prophylactic medication (which is indicated if you have 2 or more episodes per week) which will prevent you from getting so many headaches. They may also prescribe more potent "abortive" medication (used to stop an ongoing severe headache, ... nothing to do with abortion).
Don't worry, headaches are extremely common but it seems that you have them too frequently and need treatment.

I am so sorry. they can really hurt. Are you drinking lots of water? The brain really likes to stay hydrated.Course the brain feels no pain, but the muscles around it. Since this is in school could it be from eye strain? And are you eating a good breakfast before school? Please do, a good breakfast is a must to help you think, study. And going without it, being hungry is one of the reasons I used to get headaches. A sweet roll and coffee, will raise your blood sugar level and then when it drops your head will ache too. So eat a well rounded breakfast. Oats, an egg, milk orange juice. You will find you will do better on tests also. Then a lot of students grab a candy bar or coke for lunch, with chips and thats another sugar spike and subsequent drop. Also a lot of you young people seem to stay up late doing homework. And I know it does not sound cool, but you really need your sleep. At least 8 hours, six or seven is a prescription for disaster over a long period of time and your body starts to complain. Hope these tips help.

I would question the allergy approach or theory.. What allergin would be around for the entire year??? Headache is not usually associated with allergy anyway. Check the base of the skull with your finger and find out if it is tender or even sore to pressure. If you want to find out the reason why it is tender/sore, contact me.

why are you asking a bunch of strangers on the 'net to possibly prescribe medication without a licence! (which is illegal) If your symptoms are that bad... go see a doctor! it may not be allergies, you may need your eyes examined, you could have high blood pressure, which also causes headaches, you could have problems with your temporal mandibular joint, (aka your jaw) and that will give you headaches.....

you should talk to a dr. about it before you start taking meds... i heard of a trick that actually has worked for me... try drinking a big glass of cold gatorade when you have a headache... they tell pregnant women to do it since they are not supposed to take meds.... it works most of the time... you also could generally just be dehydrated b/c I get headaches when I don't drink water or eat enough fruit... try curing yourself the natural way first.... not that gatorade is natural, but you know...
