Okay, I haven't seen the Simpsons in about 3 years since we don't have TV in our house. Has Ned ever remarried, and if so what the new Mrs. Flanders like? If Ned is still a widower, what is going on with him nowadays?

no he hasn't remarried. he did meet up with singer at church but she dumped him because he was trying to turn her into his old wife. he also moved from springfeild but came back.

Yeah, carry it on! even however the jokes are not as humorous interior the later episodes, that's going to be a tragic, unhappy day :( whilst they give up making The Simpsons.
