For your information, "xu" and 'aa" are not abbreviations. Xu is a minor unit of currency in Vietnam. Aa is a form of lava flow of basaltic rock, usually dark-colored with a jagged and loose, clinkery surface. It is one of two chief forms of lava flow emitted from volcanoes of the Hawaiian type, the other form being pahoehoe. If you download the Gamehouse version of the Scrabble game, you will see the word's definition each time you or your opponent spells it. This proves that all the words in the Scrabble dictionary are real Engllish words and not abbreviations.
