I must say I rather enjoyed the new version of Pride and Prejudice with Kierra Knightly and know that if any of you chicks haven't seen this, you're missing out. I love the innocence in it. A must see.But, in your opinion, if one could only see one of the movies, which one should they see?

The BBC Pride & Prejudice is the best. Colin Firth pitter patter. Kiera Knightly as Elizabeth is just wrong. But definately P&P over S&S.

I liked both of them. Pride and Prejudice is newer, but I liked Sense and Sensibility. Kate Winslett was good in that one. Emma Thompson was also good.

S & S edges out P & P, I think. You're right about Knightly, she was surprisingly good, but the actor who played Darcy...apologies, I don't recall his name...was very boring, I thought. Very bland.
Particularly compared to Colin Firth!

pride & prejudice. i saw the movie and i LOVED it!! i like that elizabeth (the character keirra knightly plays) is smart and independent. i love the story too. it's innocent, dramatic, and in a wierd way it's funny.

very hard decision cause I loved them both . . you can also throw Emma into the mix (with Gwynth Paltrow) . . I think I would take P&P first . . Mr. Darcy ..... holy!!!!! I'd take him any day! . . . if you really want to see a good adaptation of P&P, you have to see the BBC miniseries with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy .... dayum he is soooooo sexy in that movie ...............
