lol when you have difficulty starting your car when everything else is ok. if you have new spark plugs, gas (not fumes), decent belts, and it still doesnt start, then you have a bad starter. or a bad alternator

The first clue is when you put your key in the ignition and it goes 'click' and nothing else happens.

when it just clicks as you turn the key or if it makes clanking sounds

um, when it won't start... or it's going bad if it keeps buzzing and only occasionally turning

when it wont crank even if the battery is full.
