it depends on the UV level, try this site. it updates the UV level every few minutes. www.accuweather.com
the best hours for tanning are 12-3pm.
don't spend more than an hour in the sun at once. for a rich, gradual tan, go out 20 minutes a day for about a week. you'll end up with a great color, and no burning!
don't forget your SPF, so important!
happy tanning!

it is not approximately how long (20 minutes will suffice), yet how often you divulge your self to solar. whilst i grow to be a smoker, i might get a tan only from my 5 to 10 minute smoke breaks status out interior the solar on a each and daily foundation. yet you besides might ought to realize that tanning partly has to do with genetics. Your pores and skin tone and how plenty melanin you have might nicely be a figuring out component in how long it takes which you would be able to of course tan. it incredibly is substantial not at all to overcompensate in case you permit out an afternoon or it incredibly is cloudy/wet. constantly use a tanning sunscreen with SPF 10-15.

I think it depends on your skin. Me, i was very pale and had to lay under the sun for 2 hours, on each side to notice anything. But on average I'd say switch from back to front every 20 minutes for about 80 minutes. You don't want to get burnt so don't just rely on time, look down at your body too. make sure you dont look like bob barker
