I think it is a stupid show and it should be off the air.

Love the Simpsons. Every time i see an older episode and think that they were better, a new one comes on and i end up cracking up. Remember when Homer was hypnotized and couldn't stop shrieking, at the top of his lungs. Another episode that stands out is one in which Marge takes up bowling and is seduced by her instructor. Or when Burns hires baseball all-stars for his company softball team, to win a bet and a bunch of weird things happen to each of them. Or when the Simpsons end up in Japan, and have to compete on a gameshow to get plane tickets back home...
There are too many...to name. I love it.

It was a good show, but you can tell that the show is getting tired and the writers are getting tired writing for it.

And it's understandable, the show's been around since 1989 and there's been little to no character development whatsoever. No changes, no growth.

I was 5 and in kindergarden when bart was 8 in season 1.
I'm now 22 and nearing my degree and he's still 8 years old.

It gets old. really old.

I think they are cool and funny! But personally I think Family Guy is funnier. I really like the Simpsons because they are funny and they are hilariously clever it's not just dumb comedy. So that's cool.

Lisa and Marge are my favorites!
I like Marge because she tries to be a perfect mother in a lousy marriage. She is capable of so much more so I can relate to her. But I love Lisa, she is a junior version of her mom, and I trust that her mom will keep her motivated to achieve more than what her mom has achieved.
It's one of the few shows I miss from not having TV

I love the show, been watching it for years. Now kids are watching it, and I'm worried the might get the wrong impression on the show. The profanity and fighting back to parents really not good, but it's hilarious. I watch it with my kids...

The first 10 seasons were great but I think the producers were running out of ideas so the subsequent seasons were mere tragedies.

since it is a cartoon show it is supposed to be for kids. but there are situations that they cannot understand yet. and bart's attitude is not really a good example, though in actual situations such attitude indeed exists. if you ask me, the show is more for adults than general patronage. i just hope they move its time slot just like south park.

I think it's hey-day is over. They aren't as good as they used to be. They need to concentrate more on Bart rather than Homer.
