If I were you, I would give it a try. Sanchez has a career .280 batting average and never finish a season above .300 during his days in Boston and Pittsburgh. He doesn't have pop in a lineup, so I would trade him now before he crashes down to earth. Uggla is a rookie who can have an up-and-down season, but he's worth a risk playing in a "loaded" Marlins lineup, so I would trade for him, because he has pop in his bat.

If you need a 2nd baseman and you have someone as good to play Sanchez's position (was it 3rd or short?) then of course. They're pretty even ability wise.

Sanchez is on the decline, Pittsburgh is sucking.

Uggla is on the decline, Florida is actually doing decent.

yes i live in south florida and i see uggla everyday and hes capable of stealing if you need it or even drive in some runs with homers or just ribis
