Yes - the lazy people on welfare who just sit around drinking, taking drugs, and then sleeping it off while the rest of us hard working people pay taxes to support them.

And gee...I never even get a "thank you" card.

I have a hard time stopping to even sleep. There is so much I want to do in a day or a week. I find life incredibly interesting. The Internet is The greatest resource center.

It is my goal to sit around all day (for one day or two) and do nothing but I don't know how to stop.

I seem to have "but first syndrome". I will stop all of my various pursuits and occupations for a 2 day break, "But First." Let me finish this and then I'll find out that.

God Bless You, ;-)

I've heard of such person.

So there was this poor guy lying on the beach doing nothing eating bananas that he gathered from the tree. One businessman approached him and said, I will hel you to get out of this, you will have a better life. The guy said, "OK, how is that?" Businessman said, "I'll give you some money, you can buy a boat, catch fish, sell it on the market..."
"For what?" - the poor man replied.
"You can buy a bigger boat, you can hire people work for you, you'll have a house..."
"For what?"
"You can sit on the beautiful beach, do nothing, eat bananas"
"Well, what do you think I'm doing now?"

This is usually not a goal, but a desire of very tired people.

Fictional or real? Office Space is a good movie. And Zen in the Martial Arts by Joe Hyams introduces this concept, but not as a daily practice.

I had a few roommates like that. In a way, I kind of envied their lifestyle, only because they had rich parents who, through a tremendous display of unconditional love, supported their lazy asses.
