Rather than considering life's challenges as "problems" I consider them "daily learning and growth experiences."
My life so far has been pretty great. Yes, I've had my ups and downs, I've made mistakes and a few wrong decisions. But I choose to learn from those experiences so that I don't repeat my mistakes. Yes I could/should have done some things in my past differently, but if I had then I wouldn't be the person I am today.
Each person's life is what they choose to make it. I believe that at this point in time, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, doing what I'm meant to do, making a difference in a few people's lives. The things I need to improve about myself, I either make a conscious effort to do so or accept the consequences if I don't (i.e., I too should exercise more, but since I haven't been motivated enough to do so yet I'm carrying around a few extra pounds). In the end, I make sure that my decisions are ones I can live with, take responsibility for and don't affect anyone in a negative way.
After my mother had breast cancer the first time I realized that things can change in a moment's notice. After she had it the third time, I realized that if she can overcome such a difficult obstacle three times and still come out on top, then who am I to complain about the petty little things. I figure if she can stand up and have a positive attitude about life after being dealt three bad hands, then I can do anything I set my mind to. I no longer take for granted that things will always be the way they were today, and I make sure I tell those people I care about that I love them. I learned not to ask "Why me?" but to ask "Why NOT me?"

I'm glad that your life is good. Enjoy school while you can when you get out you will wish you were back. Life is not always good but life goes on and we forge a head. My life has had its ups and downs. More downs lately than I like but one must go on.

Sounds familiar. I am doing alright. Always need to improve. Really need to set some lofty goals. Need to achieve a higher level of self (no fear).
Good luck in school.
