I love Monopoly...Tho i havent played it for years...You know they are coming out with a newer verison with card credit and its electronic..

We do. But I'm scheming to get my family to try several new games, such as Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. Step 1 will be to actually purchase said games.
I have an idea for a Monopoly add-on. How can I go about marketing it? Can I use the name Monopoly? I recently found out that the game was in public domain before it became a commercial success, so...?????

Over here in IRAQ there are only 2 board games that we play...Monopoly and Risk. That is when we have the time. And this is true for both the civilian contractors...like me..and the military guys & gals.
Can you guess what country/area on the Risk board everyone tries to occupy? FYI, they sell Risk in the various styles (ie Star Wars) at many of PX/BXs in Iraq. Most of us prefer the original, classic game board.

I do, I DO... I have played it, since I remember me sitting and playing it with my family, early years I just looked and when I was old enough I commenced in the game... I still play with my friends, a great board game to have a round of laughter and spend quality time with friends and family.
I enjoy the Classical one, the original I mean... but won't mind having some fun with the WONDERS OF THE WORLD version. I even own a Nostalgia Edition.

I do sometimes with my little sister's Pokemon edition Monopoly. I really want to see a Transformers edition in 2007!

I MANAGE A GAME STORE AND I SELL TONS OF MONOPOLY. THERE WERE AT LEAST 65 VERSIONS THAT MY COMPANY ALONE SOLD LAST YEAR AND THERE ARE MORE THAN THAT. MONOPOLY VERSIONS HAVE BECOME VERY SPECIALIZED. THEY ARE ONE OF MY BIGGEST SELLERS SO SOMEONE IS PLAYING!
