I wonder how sympathetic people would be if they had to go through airport security ,especially this week. Would you still be a "bleeding heart liberal" and embrace the swine that would like nothing better than to see our country perish?

Well that has to be the million dollar question everyone would love to hear an answer too. Unfortunatly, this war cannot be won with US in their soil. The Iraqis need to fight this one out themselves. They should have a plan of action. YOu cannot have democracy in a muslim country. You will have so much wrong doing, USA just needs to be there on a peace keeping mission not out to kill, or to be killed. Its just silly. This is something that they must figure out on their own, now that they have had their elections it is time to leave. Even the Prime minister wants us out. We are over staying our welcome.

The war has already been won. The hard part of building a solid government is what we are doing now.

Go back a check your history, the years following our Revolutionary War were far harder and sometimes bloodier then the actual war years.

Now it is all simply a matter of time, and a little luck. The government is formed it is taking more and more steps to controlling things for itself. The question is whether or not they will be able to succeed, and that has very little to do with America and almost all to do with the will of the Iraqi people and the quality of the leaders they choose.

The war can't be 'won'. It's not really a war, anyway. The US started the whole mess, Iraq wasn't causing trouble, WE went in and started a war. And now the whole country is in chaos, and there's no way to fix it. Year after year of the same bull sh*t. More guys getting killed, more getting sent over. And nothing is getting resolved or even improving, for that matter.
Does anybody even know what we're fighting for? Don't give me this "terrorism" garbage.

The problem in Iraq is not the U.S.'s problem. That problem belongs to the citizens in Iraq. They refuse to act and blame those who act for them for any problems.

The best solution for Iraq is to let it fall into a bloody civil war so those primitives can grow up and see what they are really doing.

Every country in the Middle East needs to be brought into anarchy and have millions of lives pay the price so the survivors can learn.

Actually do something to help the Iraqi people and other Muslims in the area and then get out and give them control over their country/oil. But that isn't going to happen any time soon.
