Do you mean to tell us that you have NO anti-viral software installed? That's like showing up at a singles bar butt naked.

It sounds like your computer is infected with a "Dialer."

"An dialer is a program that uses your modem to dial a pay-per-call number in order to access a particular service which in most cases is pornography. The problem is that most adult dialers are installed without your consent or knowledge and the first time you suspect something is wrong is when you see the thousands of dollars of unknown charges on your phone bill." --by bleepingcomputer.com

To remove a dialer, you need a Trojan/ Spyware remover software program. Antivirus are great at removing viruses but not dialers. I recommend you download and install Ewido Anti-spyware. It is one of the best Trojan and spyware remover. And, it is totally free. Download Ewido and install it. Afterwards, update it and run a scan. Quarantine any suspicious files. Okay, start by pulling out the phone cable from your modem/fax.

Done?

Now, go off to a friend with a CD burner and an internet connection.

Let him D/L for you either Lavasoft anti spyware or Spybot (I like spybot more, but it is up to you).

Get the CD, and install spybot on your computer.
Do a full scan, clean it up, and then remember to always keep that software on you.

Restart your computer in safe mode. Disable your modem.

Now it depends if you use DSL or dial up to get onto the net.. If you have dsl.. While still in safe mode.. You may want to visit http://housecall.trendmicro.com If you use a modem.. Buy some antivirus software and install it and scan your computer..

You need a tech. Even then you may need to re-format your Disc.

Where have you been surfing? Without security?

Sounds like a porn site in a foreign country. Eh?

I don't even go to any links on Yahho Q&A. Got a virus right here, but cleaned it.

download and run this free for one year or $20 for 2 years anti-virus software.
http://www.my-etrust.com/microsoft/

also download and run this free anti-spyware/malware software:

The "dialer", as it's called is generally considered malware, and not a virus, but it's good to have both available for you to run
