because i couldnt try out this year n im goin to be a sophmore but i didnt have the grades...so i want to know would i be in jv or varsity next year if i try out can u plzz help me out plzz....all athlets in high school

If you try out when your a junior you can play JV or Varstiy! You can even play Varsity as a sophomore! You don't have to be on the team for one year just to be able to play on varsity, so it you don't play this year you can still play varsity next year. Well they might put you on JV but if you are good enough you will deffinately make varsity. You Just have to show them that you got what it takes, i know plenty of people who hadnt played football and came up their sophmore and junior years and made varsity but they put alot of work into it thats all you have to do.

Your chances are pretty much zero. No sane coach would take you, who has no experience playing the position, over the kid who's played. Quarterback is the most cerebral position on the field. Aside from all of the physical aspects, you have to understand how to read defenses, go through throw progressions, etc. Having never played the sport, how do you expect to just walk on and start at QB? Players, even at the high school level, put in YEARS of practice to get where they are. You're thinking that you can learn in 5 months what they've spent years learning is insulting to them.

yea if u try out and really impress the coaches, not just what you can do on the field, but by putting trust into them that they can count on you, then you will make varsity

If your a great football player then yeah you can be on varsity.

and you must be strong and tough to be in Varsity. and dont suck at all, or you will be in JV. and your grades must be very good, i perferr over 3.0 GPA (bascially striaght b's)

well the # 1 thing they care about is your grades.bring them up and ya you could play go to camp.
