All snakes will bite if they feel threatened. You can pick up a garder snake though. Just grab it behind the back of the head. They aren't aggressive, but if cornered they will bite.

All snakes bite. But Garder Snakes are harmless. If you pick one up in the wild, it will probily be scared and will bite you. So, if you are willing to be bit, then pick a wild one up-you won't die or anything. But if not, pick one up at Prehistoric Pets.

Yes they bite as I had one hanging off my hand once. It can hurt depending on the size. If you hold one directly behind it's head, it can't bite, as with all snakes.

When I was young I used to catch garter snakes all the time, they never bit me....until one day I saw one in the middle of a coil of chicken wire, it was sitting on a pile of eggs. I went to grab it and it jumped at me and bit me between my thumb and pointer finger. It scared me more than anything but it didnt hurt. It looked like a little V mark written in red ink. So if you are going to catch them, grab them just behind the head, and stay away from momma's with baby's or eggs, lol. They are great fun!

sure, yet they gained't harm you. they do no longer seem to be poisonous. amazing little fellows. I had a eco-friendly grass snake as quickly as approximately six inches long that used to snap at my finger. amazing fellow, he had a chew radius of a few million/2 inch. If a snake has elliptical eyes(scholars like a cat)and a pimples like pit between it incredibly is eyes and nostril, that guy is a pit viper like a rattlesnake, moccasin or copperhead and ARE poisonous.

so really your asking if a gardener snake bites, is really what your asking, really...haha...no, not normally unless provoked. they are very docile snakes and make good pets. the only time ive ever seen one even open its mouth is when ive stepped on its tail. and even then, theyre teeth are so small, you wouldnt feel it. theyre very good natured snakes.

they can bite a little but they are not posionous. they probably would not hurt you but always check with your parents before you get near any snake or other wild animal.

well of course it bites it has teeth dosnt it?? but usually they are a farely gentle snake go ahead and pick one up the likelyhood of it bting you is slim. ive picked up a couple and never been biten. if your afraid of it getting you though just pick it up behind its head so it cant possibly manover its head and bite you.
