im not and angel fan but whenever i watch the angels vs. yankees angel always win

Haven't checked the score yet, are they already losing to Sciosia's Stiffs? For whatever reason, the Angels play harder against the Yanks. I think the Angels always have good pitching, and the old saying goes "Good pitching always beats good hitting". Oh how I hate that saying.
I think the Angels are on an uptrend, though they still need bats (Good hitting is a hallmark of good teams, is my new saying!). But their deep rotation and pen in years past has always meant the Yankees had to hit w/ discipline and in clutch situations all the time. Tough to do regularly against the Angels. AND, the Angels run (NL style ball) which frustrates the tried-and-true farts like Johnson and Mussina, who don't like being distracted by runners THEY usually put on base. To that I harken back to Bob Gibson's very wise assessment:
"When they're at bat, they're my problem. When they're on base, they're YOUR problem."
I think the Yanks will do well this weekend, and should come out Monday night still in first place.

because the angels are better than yankees and they have throw the yankees out of the playoffs 2 times.

1. The angels are a good team.
2. The Yanks aren't as good as they once were
3. The yanks play poorly on the west coast always have.

Because they've played many consecutive games and they haven't played against the Angels for a while. Besides, with all of their wins, they were due for a loss at one point.
