i went back to the clinic wed for my appt to get my first sonogram. i took another preg test to make sure and it was positive. we then did the sonogram, everything was weird. no 11 week old baby that we assumed due to the first day of my last period. my sac had a 4 week and 6 days embryo. they assume i either miscarried at 4 weeks and it stoped developing or that i really am just 4 weeks and 6 days. that maybe i missed my period due to stress or late ovulation. im in the process of trying to get medicaid. so that i can see a real doctor and see what the deal is. i still have symptoms, my breats are still so sore, i cant sleep at night. i have never bled or spotted at all that would explain a miscarriage. wish me luck.

I think they were talking about a death of the fetus without a miscarriage. A miscarriage is the expulsion of the dead fetus. At this point in time, it's probably going to be difficult to tell the real story. More than likely they're going to do another ultrasound in a week or two to see if the baby has grown. Hopefully the next appt will be better and you just missed your last period due to stress or something. My due dates are always off because of a long-lasting cycle. They always try to say that I'm a week further than I really am, even though I'm absolutely sure of when I ovulate (and this last time, I know I can't be a week ahead because there's no way I could get pregnant even before having sex!). They won't be able to check for a heartbeat for at least another few weeks, sadly. When I had an u/s at 8 weeks the heartbeat was alittle more than a dot so it's probably hard to find before then, too. They may want to do a couple of blood tests as well to check your hcg levels. The first test won't tell you much, though. The second test will tell you if your levels are going up or down. If they're still going up, things might be okay. If they've started going down, or aren't anywhere near doubling, then it isn't a good sign. Good luck! I hope they are able to give you good news!

I had the same thing happen. I kept telling the doctor that I was 3 months along, and he kept saying that I was wrong. He did a sonagram in the office and said that I had to be wrong. I started spotting and told him about that. He said he didn't see any spotting or bleeding! Finally, he sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound. That proved that a miscarriage happened about a month before and I was bleeding internally. All the pregnancy symptoms had disappeared a month earlier, also. I had to spend 3 days in the hospital and undergo a D&C.

Definitely get checked out by a real OB/GYN as soon as possible. Don't worry about having medicaid, just tell them that you have applied (show proof of applying like a letter from the DHS). Medicaid will pay up to 3 months previous to applying. I just went through it with my oldest daughter, she's 31 weeks and having a girl!

P.S. If your sysmptoms are still there, you could have miscarried and become pregnant again as soon as it happened. It does happen like that, sometimes. That would count for being off by 7 weeks. You can ovulate within 2 weeks of a miscarriage and concieve agian and never even know it.

If you still feel pregnancy symtoms you are probably still pregnant. When I miscarried I had loss of all symptoms, even a missed miscarriage causes that, which is when the fetus is still inside you.
I would think that someone would contact you from the clinic if things were not right, because you would need to have them medically intervene for you. So I would really think you're still pregnant, just maybe very late at the time of stress or something when you concieved.
Wishing you the best of luck. As I said before, I would think that your strong pregnancy symptoms are a good sign for you.
