actually the smell can be really strong and just like when you buy new furniture that smell is strong too..leave the windows open and the fan going on low, venting the air.
smells from new products like uphollstry and carpets etc. can be a little toxic until they -off gas- their chemicals used in manufacturing

Try to keep the windows open as MUCH as possible, & if you know of an area that smells nice (a pine forest, the sea shore, etc.)- try to drive around there for a few hours with the windows open. Another idea; get a bunch of friends together, & take them all out to YOUR favorite fast food place- and eat in the car! Your car may end up smelling like Wendy's for awhile (and it'll be making you hungary!), -but at least it won't stink of polycarbons so much. Good luck!

For two days, place an open box of Baking Soda on the front and back floorboards.
On the third day, take an orange, cut it in half, place one half in a bowl in the front seat, and the other half in the back.
By the fourth day, you should no longer notice any new car smell.
If you have leather seats, the smell will be a bit harder to get out.

Eat a lot of cheese and potato then go into the car to drive around and fart inside of it. You'll get the new car smell out and a new rotten egg smell in there soon enough...

Hmm...odd...I love the new car smell! Granted, the only new cars I've owned have all been GMs not Hondas, so maybe the smell is different?? Maybe try some febreze or something.

Well, down here in the land of Dixie, the good ole boys would tell you to eat some pickled eggs and drink some beer and let nature take it's course. OR BEANS, BEANS GOOD FOR YOUR HEART THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE YOU FFFAAARRRTTT.

Millions simply adore that "new car smell" perhaps you could bottle it and sell it to them.........
It might be more serious, it might actually be from the leather, if that's the case you might have a bigger problem.......

You don't get rid of new car smell! You pray that it lasts for a long, long time. That's one of the best scents in the world.
