The Blue Jackets, by far. And for the record, Rick Nash is my hero.

Some would say that the canes are the best because after all they have the cup and that's what it's all about. Others would say the Habs are the best because the Canadians have won the cup more times then any other team. Still others would go with the NYR, stating that it's not about the cup at all but about money, something the Rangers have plenty of. For me there is only one best team and that's the Leafs. When I was a boy my uncle took me to the gardens in Toronto and i watched as #27 racked up 10 points in one game. Darryl Sittler is the stuff of Hockey and has made me a Maple Leaf fan for life. Never again will any player make such an achievement in a single game. GO LEAFS GO

The Leafs have not won a cup in almost 40 years. but have sold out every game for the past 50+. Leafs rule

Boring question. How many times do people put this up? It's simple--the team that wins the Stanley Cup gets to be the best team until the next team wins the Cup. So Carolina Hurricanes....not let's move on and get some depth to this section.

on paper: probly the well it is really either the detirot red wings or the maple leafs both are solid on paper but on ice is a diff story

On ice: well this is kinda byist but the calgary flames... first of all the best goalie in the league and the best defence core offensively they could use some touch ups but every other team in the league needs somtin so i would pick the calgary flames

the columubus blue jackets will be good soon but not know they are too young they have no defence and they fall apart if rick nash does

carolina is the team to beat. next season is an open book. the most stanley cup titles are won by the montreal canadians with 24, toronto with 13 and detroit with 10. my favorite team in my book is detroit. they were awful the last few seasons in the playoffs but at least they made them and they won three cups within 10 years. columbus is in a weak division. they play chicago and the st loser blues 8 times apiece. i expect to see a big difference in the west's good teams and the worst teams. what i mean is i expect to see some of the better teams be on top and some of them to fall like dallas in the standings. detroit will be an average team like columbus.

Come on people, the Toronto Maples Leafs are the best team hands down. There is more Leaf fans than any other team out of any other sport. Nuff said.
