Life, they say, is all about choices. Oh have you got a choice to make. How much do you value your friendship? Is it worth a guy? Perhaps the guy is worth it, in which case, ask him to do the right thing and dump you former friend and go with you. I will bet you, however, that he won't. This guy is simply exhibiting a "mustang" sort of mentality, "I have to roam around and take from whatever I find, and nothing will bind me." Perhaps an even wiser thing to do would be to warn your friend about her boyfriend's behavior. It may mean losing the guy, but you and your friend didn't become "bestfriends" in a day. That makes your relationship more valuable.

i think your loyalty lies with your friend first. but before you raise it to her attention you should make sure that he is ACTUALLY crushing on you. you don't want to be wrong about something like this. if the three of you can be adult about it, you can let him know that whatever he's doing isn't cool and it's tricky but you may need to tell your girl about it but do so in a way that she doesn't want to break up with the guy. remember we all see beautiful people each day, but if you're in a relationship you should be acting on feelings of lust...

First of all, make sure he actually likes you. Then WHATEVER you do, do NOT have a secret relationship. I say, have him break up with her and make up some fake reason, and not too soon, but maybe in a couple of weeks, make up some fakie story that says how you two met. then it should be perfectly safe to go out. :)

Well....it's good that you are not giving in. He is not respecting his girlfriend if he is hitting on you. If he is hitting on you he is probably trying to hit on other girls as well.
I would tell him that he has a girlfriend and he needs to leave you a lone. Let him know that you feel that he is really disrespecting her by being that way.
If you give in, you will disrespecting not only her, but yourself

don't give him any ideas. if you did do something, that would totally mess with your friendship. my friend went out with my ex-boyfriend and i don't think our friendship will ever be the same. guys will come and go, but friendships are forever.
