The braves are an outstanding team in an unfortunate slump this year, with the great manager they have (Bobby Cox) and all the great talent on the field, its hard to count them out of the Wild Card until the day they are actually eliminated. If they can have some extended winning streaks, which we all know they are capable of (even all you who hate them know this is possible), then they definitely have a chance.

Nope, they're done...
And Kay, the Red Sox are in the AL, the Braves in the NL, both "could" win the wild card. But I doubt it. The wild cards are coming out of the Central divisions in both leagues...

The Braves couldn't win a mirror thrown darts at the county fair right now. They hitting blows, their pitching (other than Smoltz) blows, and their defense blows (other than Andruw Jones). I think they're spending too much time at the Gold Club, and not enough time taking BP.

Not this year. They have fallen on very bad times and will not make the playoffs for the first time in many years. Too bad too because I am a Braves fan.

They absolutely can. I am an avid Braves fan and have seen them do some pretty great stuff. They will need to kick up a notch or two to do it, but it can be done. Go BRAVES!!!

hopefully they will when the divison although i dought it but still i just hope they make the playoffs wildcard or divison GO BRAVES
P.S. They jsut won a game in the 9th against the brewers 2-1 smoltz w/ the W

I highly doubt it with so may team's ahead of them and being 6 games back but anything is possible.
