Many in my town are upset about a recent photo shoot of girls in string bikinis. They were running all over town for three days, posing in bikinis in lewd positions, and did not ask for permission from the City Council. We have an indecent exposure ordinances on the books that mentions "nudity and lewd dress." Does anyone know if such actions constitute indecent exposure? If not, could anyone suggest how we might go about strengthening our city ordinance? Many of our families did not go to their jobs out of protest (and lost pay) and many had to keep their young children off the streets. Our city image suffered badly due to the exposure and the publicity that will result.

Please do not answer if you're only going to say you think that this was ok. I'm asking a legal question and also looking for help with civic action.

No-so close, yet so far away!
One-half of the suit's gotta drop to constitute indecency.

I will have to do a field study to determine if this truly is indecent exposure. What is the name of your town and are there any good deals on flying there?

Alternatively, please post the photos so I can make a determination if any laws were broken. I will get to the bottom of this!

If you have a dirty mind it will be dirty to you.
Many people fell bad about the way they themselves look and like to criticize the fit younger people.
They don't have the will power to exercise and diet themselves,so it is easier to create laws to take the rights of the people away.
Why don't you use the photo shoot to promote a healthy way of life instead of being so mid-evil about it.
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss

It's about the laws of your place. It involves uncovered genitalia of people, and uncovered nipples of adult females.

Safety, health, morals and welfare are the constitutionally allowable areas of legislation and enforcement. Nudity is related to morals, no doubt. I like string bikinis, in spite of any legislation.

Hey, if you got it flaunt it, it is humans that make the human body dirty. It is a work of art and should be shown. Legally no, it is not indecent as long as the sexual organs are covered.

Yes, it does and it also constitutes a lack of self esteem and damages one's character.
There's no need to pose like that in public.
