I am a six-foot man with a thin frame. I have a few polos that are high quality, but a tad too long. I see men on TV with polos tucked into jeans, but I always feel a little nerdy when I tuck in my polo shirt to my jeans. Is it generally fashionably acceptable to tuck in a polo shirt to a pair jeans?

How about tucking into a flat-front trouser?

not a problom. it depends on how long is a tad too long. Generally you wear polos out of jeans. that looks a little odd. if you have any tan slacks or dress pants or something of that sort by all means tuck in the polo just make sure its not all bunchy.

no polos should not be tucked in for casual wearlike with jeans is a no no but for business and golf you get the thumbs up. but yeah you would look lik a nerd in a tucked polo and jeans let it hang.

Don't tuck them into tight trousers. Then you will look dorky. AS long as the pants are somewhat loose-fitting, it will look good. I like to sport the classic black polo with khaki pants.

Oh!!! I almost forgot. You must wear a belt!! Thats really the most important part. Without belt, you will look dorky as Seinfield.

Yeah, that is how you are supposed to wear them - tucked in. It's Ok to look nerdy - Nerds make the money and run the world.

some of my guy teachers wear polos that are tucked in because of the school's dress code and they look okay. its not a bad outfit! you should go for it! and two of those guy teachers are about your same height and both have a thin frame and they look just fine...try it!

Why be a slave to "cookie cutter" trends? Make your own style. If it's comfortable and you look good in it, then go for it. The only thing, though is if you are going to wear it out, you may want to get ones that are fitted. They tend to be cut on the slimmer side.
